I LOVE this. My dogs inhale chews and I'm always afraid they're going to choke on the last inch or two which they try to swallow whole. Not with this! The metal grip holds it tightly in place, the plastic itself is a nice heavy weight and not brittle so it withstands her chewing, picking up and dropping, hitting, etc. It's screws tightly shut unlike others that simply are pushed closed so it's difficult for her to try to open it. Although, one of my dogs does manage to loosen it by rolling it around on the floor. Like any chew toy, this product still requires supervision but it means I can enjoy watching my dogs from the couch with my hands slobber free. The screw action is nice and smooth, definitely well manufactured, and not that squeaky difficult to screw plastic that you often get in poorly manufactured dog toys.
I would recommend anyone buy this product, even those with gentle chewers. This has just given me such a peace of mind of choking, and it helps that last bit of chew last a little longer. Even though this is on the pricier side compared to similar products, this is WORTH the money. You won't be replacing it every month or two, it actually works, AND it fits so many more different sizes of chews (both big and very small or thin) than most others can accommodate. I have recommended this to all of my friends. Buy this and you will never buy a different chew holder ever again!

Definitely worth the price for the peace of mind! We have a 5 month old pup, Ramona, that is picky about her chew toys. She LOVES bully sticks but I was worried about the potential of her choking on the end bit. After a lot of research, I settled on this brand. It is a bit expensive, but I trust it. It's very durable; she picks it up by the bully stick and slams it wherever she feels like laying down to chew. She has also flopped it around and the bully stick stayed tightly secured. She loves that the chewsie acts like handle bars to help her hold it, too.
It was super easy and intuitive to use, I didn't even need directions. Just pop it in and screw it tight--ta da! I'm so glad inventions like this exist so we can keep our pups safe. Definitely recommend!
Update 4/5/26 - Still going strong almost a year later! She is no longer teething but we still let her have a bully stick every so often. She will not chew one without her chewsie holder. She'll literally stare at it or bring it to you over and over until you attach it. She still likes it as a base handle after all this time. It's so cute, and speaks to another benefit of this product!

We've been using this holder for regular bully sticks for several weeks now.- Holds the sticks very securely, even when it gets short. (especially helpful for a mouthy and curious teenage puppy)- Great in preventing my dog from swallowing the end piece. (main reason I bought it)- Solid build, feels very high quality and quite heavy.
The only thing is, I wish it could hold thicker items like Collagen or yak cheese sticks, that would make it a bit more versatile. Otherwise great product that does what it says it does.

WOW!! This item will probably save my 2 puppies lives. Not Kidding!! We have 2 Bullmastiff puppies that are almost 6 months old, and they were getting the smaller rawhide sticks semi soft and swallowing the whole stick, in one gulp. I truly love these things. The puppies are learning to chew. This item can hold a small or nice sized bully stick or a rawhide stick and prevent the dogs from swallowing it whole. It promotes CHEWING the sticks from the ends and not gobbling them down so fast in one piece. If it's a shorter stick you can attach it on one end. If it's longer one you can place the holder in the middle of the stick, and they can chew from both ends. CHEW, not slobber it just soft enough to swallow it whole!! If you have a larger breed dog that you want to control how fast they are consuming a bully or rawhide sticks, you need one of these. Top level of the dishwasher, so they get clean. They come apart and have "jaws" to grab onto your treat, you just twist it down as hard as you need to so your dog can't just pull it out of the holder and choke itself!!! What a great item to have to protect you dogs. Yes you should still supervise them, but this is an extra helper to keep them from chocking when you happen to turn away for just a minute. It truly promotes chewing and not gobbling their treats! Treats last much longer too.

The first few times we used this, my dogs were able to unscrew it towards the end. Then I realized that if I don’t wash it after every single use, they become more difficult to screw in and out (but still doable for me), meaning now the dogs can’t open them up. We still wash occasionally just not every time. It significantly increases the amount of time it takes them to finish a bully stick. When the stick gets close to the holder, the dogs start nibbling with their front teeth. The holder eventually gets a gnarly texture the way a chewed nylabone would- but the unexpected benefit of this is that when they nibble with their front teeth, the texture scrapes off plaque/tartar. My foster boy used to have very dark discoloration on his canine teeth and had breath because of it. Since we got these holders and he chews daily, the nasty plaque and bad breath are gone!! Seriously so impressed and was not expecting that!

GSD owner, about 75lbs. So I’m not particularly concerned about choking. What I want is to prolong the chew time of pretty pricy, very large bully sticks. And this product does that…it holds the bully securely and forces my boy to chew down to the nub. And then he tries to break it open. He’s supervised and we rescue it quickly and release the remaining nub, but it racks up a little damage every time. The photo shows a brand new one vs one with about 3 months of near daily use. If I could give this 3.5 stars, I would. I wish it was coated in silicone or something that isn’t so easily chewed up.

Bought two of these, one for each of my pups to keep them busy with their 12-inch collagen sticks. Easy to twist to hold and release the treat, as well as easy to clean. It holds the stick securely 99% of the time. There's been only once or twice that my boy had been able to loosen it and get the stick out completely, but he's done that by dropping it on the tile floor. Other than that, it's held the treats well despite all their constant chewing and tugging, even when they've gotten down to the few last inches sticking out. Before buying, I questioned the cost, but now find it worth it, especially as it keeps my pups from swallowing the small pieces of collagen stick left.
The only thing to note: Be careful if your dog carries it around. Dropping it on your foot hurts...a lot.

This is with out a doubt the best chew holder I have ever purchased for my dog. It’s not just for bully sticks but fits many wide chews as well like thinner yak cheese chews and such. It also goes down to the size of a pencil due to its brilliant design 2 “v” shaped serrated clamps on one side and one pointed punch like pin on the other to clamp together. Dog can’t even get close to clamps due to hidden design. I screw down with all my might and this thing will not break. I have broken 4 others and other threads have stripped with plastic threads. Not this one. I think I could put it in my vise and it would be fine. No need to clamp that hard, this thing holds everything and keeps it clamped due to for-mentioned design. I’ve had this for 6 mos now. I keep telling myself “as soon as this breaks, I’m getting another”. However, there is no reason to as this thing is indestructible. My heavy chewer Golden chews thru a bully in 15 - 20 mins but barely puts a scratch in this hard plastic. We both live it as I feel safe from choking hazards while she has something to grab on to while chewing. Just watch the videos.

Had this for 6 months. Give my dog a bully stick every other week. So haven’t used it a ton. But about 2 months ago this was impossible to screw open or closed. I’ve had to use grip pads from the kitchen as well as latex gloves to try to close it. It worked well for a bit but for the price I was hoping to have it longer than 6 months.
Edit:I am editing my review. After seeing my first review, Chewise reached out to me and offered helpful information on how to clean and maintain the holder so it stays in proper working condition. And offering a replacement. WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Good job!

This is the second holder we have purchased. It's perfect. It holds thin or thick bully sticks. It is easy to secure and never loses the bully sticks

I love this bully stick holder. It helps keep my puppy safe by preventing her from swallowing the last small piece of a chew. It also helps you get the most out of every bully stick. I purchased two, one for home and one for our campsite, so we always have one available. It is easy to use and gives me peace of mind while my puppy enjoys her favorite treats.

This has been the best holder for my 106 lb puppy and my 12 yr old senior. The puppy has chewed the holder so much that it's difficult to hold. It feel like it could give plastic splinters. The 12 yr old mission in life is to rip the treat from the holder and swallow it without further chewing. This holder stops him from achieving that goal 98% of the time. I will definitely still buy them again.

What a fantastic bully stick holder! I had to buy a new one for my dog because the one I had, had a hard plastic pin that was holding the bully stick in place and after a year it finally snapped and broke off. What I love most about this holder is the metal teeth and pin that hold the sticks in place. I don’t have to worry about them breaking and since they are metal they grip much better. I also really like that the holder has a gritty coating on it to make it easier for dogs to hold onto. The other one I had was a smooth plastic and my dog had to fight to hold it in place because it kept slipping out of her grasp. Lastly, the way you tighten it is very helpful for people like me who have arthritis. If you can tighten a pickle jar then you will be able to tighten the holder. Now I know it is a bit pricey but the value is there. It can withstand power chewers like my dog. It’s going to last for years. It’s also washable. You can even throw it in the dishwasher without any problems. Oh and let me add this; I have 3 dogs. Two small and 1 medium. I was concerned about the sizes of the holder. I thought it would be too big for my little chihuahuas. It’s not. They do just fine using it. It isn’t too heavy for them. I am glad I went with my gut and gave this bully stick holder a chance. I wasn’t disappointed.

Overall it works pretty well.
Our dog (Doberman) will swallow 4-5 inches whole if we don't put the bully stick in a holder like this. When it is in a holder, he works really hard to pull the bully stick out of it and is still sometimes successful depending on the shape of the individual stick.
Things that may improve it:I do wish the inner pointy part was a little longer to really dig into the stick to keep it there regardless of size (since they're so variable).  Maybe also making the ends a little longer/wider and flatter for better grip when a dog has big feet. Overall this brand has lasted longer and worked better than other similar products despite my dog's best efforts.

My 6 month puppy loves this, now she won’t eat a bully stick that’s not in a holder. She even chews on the holder when there isn’t a stick in it.
Few things to consider though:1) the opening isn’t that large. It fits the majority of thin bully sticks but I’ve had quite a few that won’t fit in the opening so I can’t use the holder at all. The majority of braided bully sticks do not fit.2) if your dog is active with the holder and moves it around a lot, it seems like it ever so slightly unscrews. I’ve had my puppy pull the very end of the stick out a few times. This has always been when I took my eye off of her for a few minutes, so you may not run into this issue. My puppy is also a 55lbs Giant Schnauzer who is determined to pull it out, so if your dog is smaller and less determined it will be fine. Otherwise, it holds the stick very securely.

Very good, holds my dogs chew sticks much more securely (with a thick metal pin) and is easier to load than his other stick keeper. It is also way more chew resistant than his other green one(iykyk). Took off 1/2 star because it doesn't always hold the end piece of his Treatly Collagen Rolls in 100 percent of the time so far (dog is super fixated on pulling last bit out, so he does sometimes wiggle it out and tries to gulp it instead of dropping, stressful) and 1/2 star because some of the rolls in the same bag of treats did not fit in the chamber where the stick is to be inserted. But still pleased enough with performance to be considering buying their next size up!

The Device That Finally Made Beef Tendons Safe — And Saved My SanityI didn't know I needed this until the day my dog nearly swallowed a whole end piece of a beef tendon. That was the last time we freestyled it.

I love the metal teeth that securely hold the bully stick in place. I wish the opening could be a bit larger to accommodate yak sticks. And while the weight is good and hefty, helping my puppy while chewing. Like other reviewers, I wish that the plastic was easier to hold with either a silicone coating or more texture. It’s too smooth and easy to slip out of my puppy’s paws.

This bully stick clamp is great for dogs that go insane chewing on a bully stick and chew it down fast before you can take it away! Our little cattle dogs love bully sticks but I’m always afraid they’ll choke on the last parts. This is heavy and a big enough size that they won’t be able to destroy it trying to get the treat out. It seems well made and tough. The only small issue I have with this is I think they can easily unscrew it, even after it’s tightened. It seems to move easily, so I’m not sure if this will be effective, but it seems ok so far. I will have to keep an eye on them to make sure. Otherwise it works great and is worth the price asked, especially compared to other clamps.

My husband and I have a Golden Retriever named Poncho. He loves chewing his bully sticks but accidentally swallowed a chunk in the car (he was fine, I was the one who internally panicked) and I have been searching for ways to keep him safe and make the sticks last longer and I stumbled upon the safe chew holder. Prior to the chew holder we would only let him get so far with each bully stick to ensure he wouldn’t swallow any large pieces. It took him several hours to acclimate to the chew holder. He barked and would not chew his bully sticks when I tried.
I was nervous I’d spent the money on something that he wouldn’t use. I just left the bully stick in the holder in hopes he would naturally start gravitating to it. AND HE DID!It took all day but he warmed up to the idea and he can now safely eat way more of his favorite bully sticks. Well worth the money and it’s also saving us money.

My dog apparently believes he pays the mortgage because he refuses to hold his bully stick himself. If it requires effort, he's not interested.
This holder keeps the bully stick upright so His Royal Highness can simply lie there and chew without the inconvenience of using his paws. It's basically a snack butler.
Now he lounges on his bed, casually chewing away while looking like he's waiting for someone to fan him with palm leaves and feed him grapes.
Excellent product for spoiled dogs who think manual labor is beneath them.

One of my best investments on Amazon! No more wasting pieces of your expensive bully sticks! This holds it so tight they can't pull it out! Can chew it right down to a small nub about an inch. She loves it and so do I. Now Im getting much more bully stick for my money!

This item came quickly but most importantly, it works with large bully sticks! I have a rather large lab who loves bully sticks but could not handle them without choking. This item allows him to enjoy the bully stick (in 10 minutes or less - he is a lab) without choking! Make sure to twist this SUPER tight to make sure the stick cannot slip out. Love it!!

OUTSTANDING product. So, TBH... i have never been a doggo human who gave them things like bully sticks... on account of how much can go wrong there. I got this in hopes to reward a lovely new rescue pup, and to overcome a near phobic condition about it lol. THESE THINGS ARE WONDERFUL. At first, i hesitated because it seemed like the screw-together threading was prone to coming loose with engagement. NOPE. When you crank it down on a bully, it holds TIGHT. I got the standard size for my 60# GWP and this was an absolutely excellent purchase. Super durable... and that matters.

Wow--this bully stick holder is great! We chose this one because it had metal to secure the bully stick which we figured would hold it precisely as we put it in for our puppy. It's easy to use to affix the bully stick in with the single prong fitting in well with the groove on one side of the bully stick. And we appreciated that we didn't need to watch our puppy intently to make sure he didn't suddenly have the stick chewed down to where it might be a choking hazard for him; we can leave him alone in a room, where he stays entertained and happy chewing away, without that worry. Before I got this holder, one time I watched him re-position the bully stick so that it fit entirely into his mouth, and I had to use the "leave-it" command and put my hand in his mouth to retrieve it, a real concern for us. So this item was the answer. My husband notices that the puppy is able to chew more of the stick too, so we aren't having to discard as much of the original bully stick when it gets down to the choke-able size. The price is reasonable, and the puppy is now happily engaged with the bully stick in this holder, which keeps the stick stable without a wiggle in sight. It's a great item that we know we'll continue using as the puppy gets older and becomes a young dog. It's great!

I highly recommend this product if you have a puppy!! I had previously ordered the Bow Wow bully stick holder and I was extremely disappointed in it so I had to send it back. The Bow Wow holder does not have "teeth" to hold the bully stick and it slides right out easily! The PetClan is awesome!! It has "teeth" to hold the bully stick, plus it is washable! I ordered bunch of PetClan bully stick holder for my customers that was picking up their puppy!

This thing is serious! My pitbull puppy is a super chewer and chews treats super fast! With this chew holder, she is much slower and doesn't swallow the last 6 inches of her chew, which helps keep Mommy's heart from dropping into her stomach when she realizes it was a raw hide chews instead of the normal raw hide free chews I normally buy! Money is tight sometimes, you know? Not doing that again though, because even with the best chew holder, my pittie can still chew off big pieces of her treats and then I worry and hope and pray the raw hide doesn't get caught in her digestive tract and cause big problems! It's just not worth the worry in the end! Raw hide free pizzle sticks for her from now on! They last much longer anyways! Thank goodness someone invented this godsend though! Saving me some money and heart problems! Lol

I tried three other styles of bully stick holder before finding this one and was almost ready to give up on giving my dog bully sticks because she would always chew the stick down to about 1-2 inches then get it out of the other styles of bully stick holder and swallow it whole and end up throwing up the 1-2 inch piece sometime later. Not anymore! This bully stick holder actually works because it has metal teeth that grip the bully stick tightly. The rubber circle style holder is a pain to get the bully stick in and the dog can always work it back out and any of the versions with plastic teeth just don't grip the bully stick tight enough to hold it securely. This is literally the only brand on the market that works for us.

Does exactly what it should and prevents those little end pieces from getting swallowed. My only gripe is my dog has chewed on the holder as well and it’s not as durable as I would have liked. Still works just more chewed up than I was hoping for it’s age. it’s better than something too hard that would crack his teeth, just sharing for heavy chewers out there. You’ll need to replace it periodically if your dog is like mine.

This is a really good holder - the pin actually digs into bully sticks keeping them in place and it has a nice shape for paws to hold onto. I just wish this was made out of hard rubbers like Chuck chew sticks that are really chew resistant. Our pup started with the small one and it lasted a long time, months, but eventually she started chewing up the holder. Bought second one, the standard size for the larger bulky sticks, and while the size was good for her at 8 months old, she still eventually figured out how to get her mouth around it and chew it up. So highly recommended for dogs that aren’t aggressive chewers and don’t love chewing on plastic.

As long as your bully stick fits inside the opening, this thing HOLDS. My dog is a serious chewer and has not been able to remove a stick from it (except when the holder was stretched to its max size so it wasn't as tight as it should have been). My only gripe is once the chew is down to the stub, my dog will start biting the holder. Unfortunately this leads to sharp plastic pieces sticking out from the bite marks. Monitor your pup carefully and take it when they are down to a nub.

Loud! This chew holder works as advertised and my dog inhaled her chew, happily gnawing on it until it was down to a nub. Then she started rolling it across the wood floor with her nose. Loud! Then she started playing with it, tossing it up in the air and when it lands, clunk! I guess I'll just have to take it away and toss the nub of the bully chew. At 6 am it is very loud, woke my growly bear husband up!! But my puppy loves it, it works, and I will keep using it, but I will just take it away when it gets that short. Bully sticks are so expensive these days I hate just tossing the end, but it's cheaper than the vets bill if she chokes on it, or has a blockage.

This is a wonderfully easy to use and sturdy holder! I've been able to fit bully sticks and collagen bones in it so far. My dog took a little while being leery of the product, but he finally took to it like a fish out of water. He loves this thing! It helps him hold his bones, and I dont have to eagle eye him so he doesnt choke.
He did manage to chew both sides of a bully stick down to the point the holder's metal spike could no longer hang onto anything. But by that point, the bully stick was way past choking hazard size. It was tiny tiny. Still, make sure you screw your bones in extra tight for security.
Also my dog throws his sticks in this thing. Uses it as a fun chuck toy. Lets it fall down the stairs. It makes me cringe everytime thinking the toy will break with his roughhousing, but man, it is sturdy!

the design is great. It holds wider bully sticks but not wide enough for most Yak chews. I bought the standard size and it actually huge. Too big for my smaller dog. Don't get me wrong, it works well, but if you have hardwood floors or linoleum, forget it. It is incredibly loud when the dog is picking it up and putting it down. I wish they offered a smaller size that was rubber or silicone coated.

4.5/5 stars! This is a GREAT bully stick holder. It’s SO much better than the more expensive one we were previously using. We use the jumbo sticks and the smaller end fits in this VERY securely. Our dogs were always able to pull the sticks out of the other holder, and I was constantly having to check the security of them. The sticks didn’t loosen at all in these and both dogs are strong chewers! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because simply because it’s smaller than it appears in many of the photos. Our dogs made it work but it’s not as easy for them to hold onto. Our dogs are 100# and 120# for reference. (See photos) If the company made a slightly larger one we would definitely buy it, but these still work great. Highly recommend.

* update* seller contacted me informing me they heard my issue and were currently working on an improved design. Received it this week and the threads are larger which significantly reduced unwanted turning of the screw system. This product is great with the metal teeth holding the stick well in place now! Great CS and very happy with the product at this time!
Old review:I liked the idea of the metal teeth to hold bully sticks better, but the first time I used it, despite twisting tightly- my dog was able to almost immediately loosen the screw mechanism and took out the entire stick. Good idea but screw system is too loose, defeats its purpose so I do not recommend it

This is a great product and I love it. However I'm pretty sure my dogs hate it. They hate it because they can no longer swallow the bully stick whole and choke on it resulting in them puking on the floor. Not to mention the panic they cause us when choking. Highly recommend this. It's honestly gives me a piece of mind while the are able chew.

This is a great tool to hold the bully stick! However, it is heavy so if you have a small dog that likes to carry around their bully stick this might be too heavy for them.

Upon arrival, the package was pretty beaten up, but luckily the item itself was still intact. It also came with a small baggie for transport. The design is simple as you just secure the bully stick within the space containing the metal teeth and screw. I like that this holder makes it easier for the dogs to hold between their paws. It’s pretty secure for the most part, but upon its last use, my dog was able to remove the nub from the holder and consume it before I had the chance to take it away. Maybe I didn’t screw it in tight enough. Will try again and update with more use.

They really do the job of holding the bully sticks. But they are ridiculous expensive.

I ordered this for my greyhound. He loves bully sticks, but I always worry about him choking when the stick gets too small.
The set includes the bully stick holder, a plastic jar for the bully stick nubs, a bag to carry everything and a two stickers to stick on your windows letting first responders know that you have pets inside.
The bully stick holder is a hard plastic and not to be chewed on. I do wish it was made of something that could be chewed on because my dog really wants to chew on it. The stick holder securely holds the bully stick in place. It may take some time for my grey to grow to like this device. He only chewed on the stick for a few minutes and gave up. I think it is a little awkward for him to use this.
I really don't understand the "nubs bank" jar. Why do you want to keep the old nubs of the sticks? It just doesn't make sense to me. It is not like you are saving anything that is worth anything.
The device is engineered in the US, but made in China.
This does work and holds the bully stick securely, but so far my guy isn't fond of it. I think maybe if it was made out of something other than hard plastic, he might like it.

My dog kept trying to swallow whole bully sticks after they got soft and kept choking on them. This keeps him busy for a half hour with tiny bites. Perfect. Love the metal teeth. Really holds them in well. Great purchase!!

I love this thing!!! I was always worried when the bully stick was getting shorter that my dog would just swallow it (because he definitely would) and this thing definitely prevents that! I got the standard size and always buy the largest size bully sticks. For the most part they all fit securely but every once in a while we get a deformed stick that is wider and flatter and that sometimes doesn’t work (this is more of a bully stick defect than anything to do with this product). Anyway, I highly recommend!

I ended up purchasing the regular and large size in this product and love them both. The regular size is used for the bully sticks and the larger one is used large yak cheese chews and large collagen chew sticks. These products give me peace of mind that my dog won’t choke on her chews when they get small.

Our Golden is an aggressive chewer. She was able to get the bully stick out of a different brand easily. This one holds the bully stick much better preventing her from swallowing the remaining piece whole.

Amazing quality! Keeps my mind at ease when keeping my dog anything stick shaped like bullysticks, yak chew, yogurt cheese or more. I like that it’s adjustable and made of very hard plastic and has metal claws to grip each item! Golden mom approved !

This is my second one. Works perfectly. Only thing my dog cannot destroy but the first one has plenty of chew marks. I bought this just because she gets bully sticks and collagen sticks and I was tired of switching them out. This may be the only dog product that will outlast her. Plus she loves it even without a chewy and carries it around and chews on it just like a toy.

Our baby loves her bully holder. She's using as I write this. It's pretty darn tight. She was able to open it once but maybe I accidentally didn't tighten it enough that time. So, I'm not knocking off any points for that since it was most likely operator error. Yes, I recommend.

I was getting tired of holding the stinky bully stick for my pup (he was insistent) or not holding it and then turning my back for a minute and having him swallow the last inch or so whole. I’ve tried several other bully holders and my girls (two Dobermans) can always pull the bully out. So far they have enjoyed chewing the bully’s but not pulling them out.

You have to align the treat well and really crank it down. The shape allows my dog to hold it well.

I love this thing! At first glance it was a bit pricey but it was literally worth every penny! It is super durable and easy to clean too! My pup is smaller so it took him a bit to get used to carrying it off but he got the hang of it super quickly! I highly recommend this for the safety of your pup!

So easy to use and holds the chew stick securely. I liked it so much that I bought another one for my smaller dog. I also love that it comes in different sizes to fit different breeds. It feels extremely durable and seems like it will last for years.

I have a few different kind of bully stick holders and this one is far superior. If I ever need another, this is what I will buy. My dog never gets the bully stick/chew out of it.

This is fantastic! My lab loves bully sticks, and has a tendency to pull them out of other bully stick holders, but not this one! It’s also easy to open to close. My only complaint is that it’s incredibly loud when she drops it on the hardwood.

It's thick, my dogs all wanted to play with it. 3/5 heavy chewers didn't destroy it. So it's durable. The average size was good for my Border Collie and Doberman mix. Too small for our Sheepadoodle and Saint Bernard. It's just think enough to hold the bully stick, but not to thick for their paws. I felt it was too expensive. Save the consumer money by not including a "carry bag". Thanks!

The metal pin is genius. This is the only holder I’ve used that actually holds the stick securely. I don’t have to worry about the nub slipping out at the end. So thankful for this!!

These are vastly superior to the other type where you unscrew the top and have to twist the knob inside. Everyone of those I bought required a wrench to turn the knob, and then eventually the knob would break. These are easy to to tighten and hold treats to where my aggressive chewer can't get to the end piece.

Locks the stick in. This way my Great Dane does not swallow the last little piece and have bowel trouble for a couple of months. This happened before we bought this. Worth the money instead of $1000's in veteranary bills.

Does exactly what it's supposed to. Our pup instantly knew how to hold it and it kept him from swallowing a big chunk and choking / throwing up the remains later. Quality, sturdy materials and easy to use.

My dogs LOVE these. They can’t get enough of them and I no longer have to worry about my ornery dog trying to gulp down her Bully Stick when it gets small. She has only managed to wriggle her Bully Stick out of the Chewise holder once. Some Bully Sticks are shaped more conducive to this contraption than others. Sometimes you have to maneuver the stick to fit through the opening in a way at that the pin can’t pierce the Bully Stick but, between tightening the pin and the metal grip teeth, it’s in there pretty good, even if the stick isn’t pierced. Highly recommended for dogs who love Bully Sticks!!!

Received this bully stick holder and immediately put a standard sized bully stick in it and gave it to my dog. She loved it and so did I, until I tried to open it to change out the bully stick and couldn’t get it to unscrew. I had my husband try it and he couldn’t open it either! Sooooo, at this point it’s a one use holder 🤬🤬🤬🤬

I’m sp happy I found this product because I absolutely love it. I’m always a little nervous giving my fur babies bully sticks or other chews—especially when they get down to that small piece and try to swallow it whole 😬This little device has been such a game changer. You simply insert the chew and tighten it, and it has a small prong that holds everything securely in place. It lets them enjoy their chew safely while giving you a little peace of mind.
Of course, supervision is always important, but this definitely helps you relax a bit more while they’re happily chewing away.

Finally, a bully holder for all size bullies! The prong and teeth are metal, so it is a strong hold. Can really shrink it down for thinner ones and plenty of room for the big ones, too! To get a strong hold, you really have to twist, so probably not ideal if you have arthritis in your hands/wrists. Strongly recommend!

My dog doesn’t like chewing his bully without it! It holds very tightly. Seems indestructible, but my dog isn’t a destructive chewer. I am happy as I don’t have to worry about him swallowing the last pieces of his chews. I like the bright color as it is easy to spot in our house. My dog uses this daily.

I trusted my dobie to eat her bully stick and we had no problems until recently. I watch her chew her stick and she will chew until there is a small part left then swallow. Recently she's start to really bite off more than she can chew and she attempts to throw up. I had to help her throw up and thankfully there was no issues. For my peace of mind, I bought this so she can't eat the entire thing. I still keep an eye on her because sometimes she untwists this and tries to get that last piece. But other than that I got no issues.

Our little dog loves the really stinky bully sticks! I'm always afraid she'll choke on the last bit of the stick, but hate to waste 2-3". This holder is great! After tightening the device with the stick firmly in place, she can chew to the last inch of bully stick and I don't have to worry. Of course, a dog should always be monitored with a bully stick.

I always bought bully sticks for my baby but blast time I was so scared because he vomited a piece of the bully stick this is why I decided to order this holder and I think was the best decision wow he stayed more than 3 hours fighting lol omg 3 hours I can cook clean and do my stuff without worrying about my baby he is a bernadoodle they are so anxious and actives all day long I recommend it 100%

I've already repurchased another! These work so much better than the first ones I bought which were larger and clunkier. The pointed pin does a superior job at holding the bully stick in place versus the flat ended one my other holder has. The size is smaller and lighter which makes it easier for my large dogs to hold.

Really needed this for my pup! She loves bully sticks, but would go through them really fast and before you know it she was already almost done with it, which isn’t safe in the event that they choke on the last few inches of it.. I bought this and it’s been so amazing and much needed!! It makes her slow down a bit when eating because she has to hold the holder.. and I specifically wanted this one because it has a nice screw that makes you believe it’s locked in really good!! 10/10!

Every dog owner should have this! My new puppy Cavachon cannot stop chewing and love his bully sticks, but after swallowing an almost 2 inch piece whole I knew I had to get something. My Frenchie loves this thing! My Frenchie Marty has short legs and has a hard time holding his bully sticks, so it’s usually me holding them for him. This has been a game changer! It keeps the bully stick in place, no slipping and Marty can hold it. I have tried similar products but nothing has worked like this! I would buy this again and again!

I have an eleven week old aggressive chewer. She only wanted bully sticks when I was holding them for her. I bought this bully stick holder and she LOVES it and so do I! I can hook up a bully stick for her and she can handle it herself. She really entertains herself with it. And, it is made so I don’t have to fear her choking on a remaining piece of stick. The construction is good and it really holds the bully stick firmly.

These do a great job of holding the end of the bully sticks so my dogs won’t swallow the last couple of inches whole! I just wish they were made of hard rubber material (similar to Kong’s) because once the dogs get to the holder, you need to take it away because strong chewers will be able to rough up the plastic, getting small pieces off & leaving sharp indentations in the plastic.

This holds bully sticks or other chews better than any other holder I’ve tried. I wish the plastic rims near the screw section were tapered smaller. My small dog can’t chew the last bits easily and ends up chewing the plastic, so I have to take it out at that point.

I like this ballistic holder it does its job. Way too expensive you can get one just as good for a lot cheaper. But it is made well and does its job

More durable than other brands and puppy loves to play with it while chewing on the bully stick. She is still able to dislodge the stick if she’s determined but as long as she only swallows a small piece whole, she seems to do okay.

It does what it is supposed to do. It’s a learning curve for the dog as they have to manipulate it so the bully stick is in a position to chew

Best holder yet. It WILL get chewed on after the bully stick is to the nub... you either need to remove it from your dog, or accept the chewing. The chewing marks don't hurt anything that I can see... Certainly don't let them chew on it endlessly... should never let a dog chew anything without some oversight anyway... when they get it down to a nub, take it away. Mine has a lot of chew marks, doesn't affect it's operation. I will say, sometimes our girl WILL get the nub out, how I don't know... I put that thing TIGHT as I can... She is an aggressive chewer... I literally put it as TIGHT as I can possibly get it... I think her licking it on the short side makes it softer to eventually pull out... She's a magician! Just figure out how long each stick lasts, and keep an eye out, and take it away around that time when it gets to the nub. Love this, keeps them active for a while without having a large chunk of bully stick left in her tummy.

My dog loves this bully stick holder, and I love how it holds the stick so I do not have to worry about my dog choking on it. I like that it’s heavy duty, but when it gets dropped on a tile floor it is very loud. If it had some rubber to it, it would be quieter. Love this very well made and tough holder as it does stand up to my 10 month old Golden puppy who is a serious chewer.

It's hard and clunky, but I guess that is the point of needing one of these for my dogs. They at least can chew down to the nub and hopefully not choke.

Holds the bully pretty well for first few months but eventually the mechanism gets lose or wears down and your pup will probably break it out- so have to replace. Great distraction for hours for my gal.

Honestly great product unfortunately my 1.5 year old pug never used it he prefers to be extra annoying and prefers us to hold his treats. Maybe my next dog will enjoy it.

Works well and holds the bully securely. I was a bit surprised that it is not a softer nylon type material (like a kong) but rather a hard plastic that makes a loud cracking sound each time our pup drops it on the tile.

Dog loves it & uses it almost daily. Rated 4 stars because the threading on the tightening mechanism wore down after about a week & it’s very difficult to tighten for smaller bulky sticks & similar treats.

It holds a bully stick really well, but the yak chews do not fit it the holder. It was advertised it held yak chews also. I have 2 different brands of the yak chews and the dimensions are the same for the them.

I have a very aggressive chewer (Blue Heeler) and my only complaint with this bully stick holder is that she can actually loosen the holder and gets the last of the bully stick out. I have to keep an eye on her and take it away when she has chewed it down to a nub.
Our other dog (blue Heeler, Australian Shepard, boarder collie mix) on the other hand isn’t as an aggressive chewer and it works great for her.
I really like the holder over all especially the metal teeth that help hold the bully stick secure, and feel it’s a good value foe the money.

Holds the stick if you really tighten down but you are left of course with 2-3 inches of stub too small to allow the dog to have due to choking hazard.

The product works well. However, my 6 month old 20 lb puppy is petrified of it. It’s heavy and he dropped it on the floor and barks at it every time I bring it out🤣🐶. Probably better for larger breeds.

Very secure holder for a bully stick. My 11month old puppy likes to chew the hard material of the holder, so I am concerned she could break a tooth. Not sure what do do with the smaller piece that is left. Ideas?

It holds bully stick very tightly and is a sturdy base. No smell. With the proper size, dog loves to hold it with paws. However, after one month use, it becomes very hard and not smooth to rotate. I guess it is becomes dogs saliva ran into the inside.

We need a larger one

Edited review: the seller contacted me and sent me a new holder. This one is much better and still works after a week or so. So I am hopeful the first one was just a fluke and this one will continue working. It needs to be tightened very strongly though if your dog is “persistent”!! Mine was able to loosen the last bit a couple times.
It hasn’t been a couple weeks and now it’s too hard to screw it in. The two parts then get stuck and it becomes hard to reopen it. Which is weird since it’s made of plastic.

I love the metal jaws but only gave 2 stars because my female can unscrew them somehow even tho i tightened it as far as i could.
I think its great for normal dogs, like my male.

If your collagen stick fits it will hold it very tight, unfortunately, I am using braids which are quite wide and some don't fit.

I like that I don't have to worry about our dog choking on the ends of her bully stick and use this when giving bully sticks. One drawback is it can only open so wide and won't work on braided bully sticks or anything too thick. It is also quite heavy, so it's not easily moved around if your dog is on the smaller side.

I ordered this for my mini poodle shadow who loves his bully sticks, but tends to disappear them under the couch. This bully stick holder Prevent this from happening and allows him to actually eat the whole thing. The only thing is that this size is way too big for him, but I did not read. I guess that there was a smaller version so I’m not buying another one so unless the company wants to send me one or exchange it, I’m stuck with this one. But I guess it works and he’s using it so. It’s very well-made and heavy duty plastic. I wish it was more of like a hard and rubber because when I drop it on the floor, it very hard. I’m afraid it’s gonna like crack the tile.

It's a little heavy but it does the job.

I got this for my 75 lb Staffordshire Shepherd so he wouldn't wolf down his bully sticks quite so fast. This extended the time it took for him to finish his bully stick- he can usually go through even a large one within 5 minutes- but he did eventually manage to get the nub of the bully stick out of this device. I'll have to do some more testing (which I'm sure my dog will happily participate in!) to see if I can tighten it a bit more and prevent him from working out that last piece, or at least see if he gets it down to a reasonably small nub before he is able to pull it out. At the very least, this will slow him down and I can keep an eye on him to pull this away before he's able to work the nub out to swallow it. I was pleased to see that my dog didn't mangle the holder itself. He has sometimes left big bite marks in treat holders that were supposed to be durable and chew proof. This also came with a little plastic "nubs bank" jar. I don't see myself saving the bully stick nubs, but I found it useful for my yak chew nubs (which I save and puff in the microwave when I have a few).
